From Our Worshipful Master
Wor. Nicholas B. Walker
It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as your Worshipful Master. My commitment to you is simple: we will grow Masonry from the inside, out.
Inside
To me, this means we begin with ourselves. We strengthen our Lodge by strengthening each Brother—by living the obligations we have taken, by practicing the ancient landmarks of our Craft, and by supporting one another wherever we may be dispersed. When we stand together, we are at our best.
Middle
We will continue to nourish and cherish the bonds that make Churchland special. Look around and see the Brother who hasn’t been with us in a while—extend a hand and invite him home. Invite a friend who may be seeking what we have found. And above all, ensure the West Gate remains well-guarded so that the quality of our Brotherhood endures.
Out
Our responsibility reaches beyond our Lodge walls. We will support our appendant bodies, our ladies’ organizations, especially Esther Chapter 37 which holds a special place in our hearts.
Most importantly, we will stand firmly behind Bethel No. 5, Portsmouth DeMolay, and every youth organization that calls upon us. Their future is our future, and they deserve our unwavering encouragement.
I look forward to a year of unity, purpose, and growth—together.
